Grammy nominees Kelly Rowland and David Guetta hit up Lopez Tonight on Thursday and turned the joint into a pulsating dance club. The pair are nominated for Best Dance Recording for “When Love Takes Over,” and Guetta is up for Best Remixed Recording for the track, as well. So will love take over the recording academy, and find the French DJ and former Destiny’s Child diva earning some Grammy gold on Sunday?

“It was magic. It was incredible,” Guetta said to Idolator this week about working with Kelly Rowland on his album One Love. “It was the first time I worked with an R&B singer. I feel like when it comes to to sound and energy, nobody can beat us, dance music producers. When it comes to singing and melodies, nobody can beat urban artists. They have soul. So it was the perfect combination.”

And for those anxious for some new material from Rowland, the in-demand DJ/producer added, “I’m now working on Kelly’s new album.”
