Nick Jonas Celebrates His Album Release By Singing “Halo” And “Poker Face”

How does Nick Jonas promote the release of Who I Am, his new album with side project The Administration? By singing other artists’ songs!

A video of the VMAN cover guy banging out Beyonce’s “Halo” and Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”—albeit for about five seconds each—was added to the Jonas Brothers’ official YouTube channel today. And the trio’s fellow “We Are The World” participant Jordin Sparks just happened to be on hand to join in on the shenanigans. Granted, Nick’s stab a silly humor is a little schmaltzy. But we’re just still enthralled with Joe Jonas’ geek chic look. So let’s head below and get another look at those Clark Kent specs!

As of Tuesday afternoon, Who I Am was lodged at #5 on the iTunes Albums chart, while it the LP was #4 at Amazon’s MP3 store (where it’s specially-priced for one day only at $3.99).

But Nick wasn’t content to just sit back and let his viral video do all the marketing. This morning he hit up L.A.’s Santa Monica Pier for a quick mini concert for the beach-going masses.

“I want to spend release day with my fans!” Jonas tweeted. “Heading to Santa Monica pier near the carousal to play for whoever shows up at 10:30am/PST!!!”
