Sade may have taken a ten-year break, but early sales figures indicate that  the love for the UK quartet is still as strong as ever. HITS Daily Double is projecting that the band’s latest LP Soldier Of Love will sell between 400,000 and 425,000 copies next week, easily landing it at the top of Billboard‘s Top 200 Albums chart. If this does indeed happen, it will mark only the second time Sade have clinched a #1 LP in the States (after 1985 album Promise).

If you missed David Letterman being blown away by the group’s performance of single “Soldier Of Love” last night, watch it here. Below the jump: Sade on The View this morning.
