Selena Gomez Goes Au “Naturally” On ‘Good Morning America’
Wizards Of Waverly Place starlet Selena Gomez hit up Good Morning America to do what comes naturally. No, no, not another Selena Quintanilla-Pérez tribute! She performed her own song called “Naturally.”
Before crooning her latest single, she gave a bunch of non-answers to questions. (On balancing school work with her showbiz career: “It’s hard, but we make it happen somehow.”) Then the producers rolled a clip of her from ten years ago on Barney & Friends. Hey, wonder if she knows fellow Texas native Erica Rhodes, i.e. the “Barney Dominatrix” who recently made it through to Hollywood on American Idol (but got the boot on Tuesday)?
Yeah, she really seemed thrilled about having that clip dredged up. It’s probably the equivalent of having your mom pull out photos of you at age six in drag and passing them around the table at your high school graduation party. Or, uh, maybe that only happened to us….
