For their performances at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas, Shakira brought out the “She Wolf” cage and a marching band, Alicia Keys rocked a medley of “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart,” “Empire State Of Mind” and “No One,” and Usher—well, he did the usual and busted out the Michael Jackson dance moves.

Catch the performances from all three after the jump.

While Alicia and Shakira performed during the halftime segment, Usher opened the game with a new jam (“More”) and an old one (“Yeah!”). And the Dallas Morning News didn’t seem all that impressed.

Here’s what the paper had to say:

Usher is, well, Usher. You get the Michael Jackson steps, a bit of the sexual innuendo, plenty of shout-out hooks and muscle-flexing posturing. He had dancers, too.

His stint lacked the attention-grabbing effect of the halftime women. He came and went without much fanfare. Many people were still finding their seats when he took the spotlight, and since “More” was used as part of the intros for the NBA players, he seemed upstaged from the get-go.
