Kimberly Caldwell Finds Herself In The “Mess Of You” Video

Earlier this month Idolator gave you the first sneak peak at stills from Kimberly Caldwell’s new video for “Mess Of You.” And below now is the actual music vid, which was shot at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel. The clip features the singer getting frisky with her man in a swanky hotel suite, the 27-year-old Texas belter ultimately wising up to the no-good guy’s cheating ways and, of course, plenty of Kim’s husky vocals.

Gotta love the ending, where Guardian Angel Kimberly takes Brokenhearted Kimberly’s hand in the elevator, and they stroll off together, leaving Cheating And Sexting Dude all alone. Wink! See the maybe/maybe not implied naughtiness you ultimately missed out on, buddy?

“Mess Of You” is the first official single released off Caldwell’s upcoming debut Without Regret. (Listen to “Say Love,” another song from the album, here.) The American Idol Season 2 alum wrote four of the record’s songs herself, while Diane Warren, Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger and Idol judge Kara DioGuardi also penned tracks for the LP.

And so far, from what we’ve heard, Kim looks set to easily fill the role of the raspy-voiced blonde bombshell of modern pop-rock.

Without Regret is due out April 6.
