“We Are The World 25 For Haiti” was filleted on Saturday Night Live this past weekend in a sketch where Quincy Jones (played by Kenan Thompson) offered up “We Are The World 3: Raising Awareness Of The We Are The World 2 Disaster.” In it, Jennifer Lopez posed as Rihanna—and she did so pretty effectively, we have to say. Have a watch of the skit, plus J.Lo performing new songs “Pieces” and “Starting Over,” after the jump.
Lopez even got a few “ella, ellas” in while taking a swipe at Fonsworth Bentley, the dude who used to hold the umbrella (get it?) for her ex, P. Diddy. And, gosh—Jenny’s been through so many marriages and almost-marriages since she was with Puffy, we almost forgot that relationship ever happened.
Here’s the “We Are The World” parody:
And below are two new songs Lopez performed on SNL—”Starting Over” and “Pieces.”
Jenny recently found herself out of a label deal after fulfilling her contractual obligations to Sony. But as she mentioned in a statement last week, she’s already found a new home for her upcoming seventh studio album Love?
