Nothing like dragging your mummified ex out into the desert in an 18-wheeler and strapping them onto the side of a giant rocket ship. Such is the premise of Goldfrapp’s music video for new single “Rocket,” which finds singer Alison Goldfrapp enlisting the aid of a pack of new millennium Robert Palmer girls to help carry out her dirty deed. Head below the jump to watch the vengeful clip!

Note to self: throw Duel and The Hitcher in the Netflix queue. Alison recently wrote the following on Goldfrapp’s blog:

“you’re probably wondering where the hell the ‘rocket’ video is? there has been quite a bit of post production on this (and very little budget) so people have been working really hard to get it to you as soon as we possibly can. it’s nearly there…….!”

The synth-pop duo’s fifth album Head First drops March 23. If you haven’t already, hit up the ear candy that is the album tracks “Believer” and “Alive.” Because both are contenders for the second and third singles off the LP in our book.
