Akon And David Guetta Keep The Good Times Rolling With “Party Animal”

The latest in the steadily growing line of collaborations between singer Akon and Grammy-winning DJ/producer David Guetta is about—what else?—partying, dancing and hooking up at the club. “Party Animal” follows up the pair’s recently-surfaced tune “Nosy Neighbor”—though there’s no official word yet on whether either track will appear on Akon’s upcoming Stadium Music album.

Give “Party Animal” a spin after the jump.

By David Guetta’s standards, this song’s pretty much a by-the-numbers snooze. For Akon, however, it’s basically par for the course. What more can you really expect from an unimaginative dance track with the chorus “I can see that you’re a party animal, a party animal, a party animal like me”?

Meanwhile, the in-demand Guetta is certainly keeping his plate full. In addition to cranking out recent tracks for Akon, Wynter Gordon and Kelis, the French whiz told us in January, “I’m now working on Kelly [Rowland]’s new album. I also have the new Madonna album coming up.”

He also worked his magic on Estelle’s appropriately-titled fetishistic new single “Freak.” Slap on some glitter and vinyl and watch the video here.
