Good morning! Since we’re taking a brief break from watching (and rewatching) Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video to bring you today’s mix, we hope you, too, take a momentary pause from drooling over the epic vid to check out the mix. Deal? [Internet handshake.] Deal.

Did You Hear?

:: Lady Gaga hops on the Rock Bandwagon—four of her songs (“Poker Face,” “Monster,” “Bad Romance,” and “Just Dance”) will be available for purchase next week on the Rock Band Music Store. Insane outfits not included. [Billboard]

:: Fo Our Sorrows—Big Boi’s album is pushed back yet again. [Vulture]

:: Alleged Jessica Simpson-lover Billy Corgan thinks Jessica’s ex John Mayer is purposefully destroying his career. Now somebody ask Tony Romo and Nick Lachey what they think about one another. [E! Online]

:: Amy Winehouse plans to launch her own clothing line collection with British fashion label Fred Perry this Fall. Hasn’t Lindsay Lohan done enough damage to the fashion world? [Just Jared]

:: The latest addition to the Bonnaroo lineup: Conan ‘O Brien. If we’re lucky, he’ll invite Will Ferrell and Beck to perform “Free Bird” with him again. [Rolling Stone]

After the jump: we ring in the “Telephone” video with another classic phone-related musical clip.

Music on TV Today: :: Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) – Drive-By Truckers :: Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) – Katharine McPhee :: Last Call with Carson Daly (ABC) – Lily Allen :: Late Show with Jimmy Fallon (NBC) – Vampire Weekend :: Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS) – OKGo (repeat)

VIDEO REWIND OF THE DAY: Here’s the story, morning glory: Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video was finally released last night, and we haven’t seen that many different variations of telephones in one clip since 1963, with Bye Bye Birdie‘s “Telephone Hour” segment. The cheeky movie musical was filmed 47 years ago, but this fun (and incredibly quotable) song from off the soundtrack is as enjoyable as ever. Truth be told, it is a little dated (who gets pinned anymore?), but lucky for us, we’ve got Lady Gaga’s music video to be the definitive telephone-related video of the next five decades.

Have a great day!
