B.o.B Hits Back At Fakers In “I Don’t Know Y’all,” Describes His Upcoming Album
Geez, with only one hit in the bag, it appears that B.o.B is having to ward off the hanger-ons already. The “Nothin’ On You” rapper/multi-instrumentalist has taken Drake’s new single “Over” and added some pointed rhymes over the track. Hop below to listen to the Atlanta MC give the fakers the poetic brushoff.

“I swear it feels like everyone I meet’s in my face with the same line, ‘I knew you was a star all along’… I don’t need the lies right now, no new friends right now/ I don’t know ya,” Bobby Ray raps. Guess that’s what happens when your single shoots to #2 on iTunes (and is held off only by Taio Cruz and Ludacris’ stealth “Break Your Heart.”)
B.o.B hit up BET’s 106 & Park on Friday, where the hosts compared him to innovative diva Janelle Monae. “I actually say that. I say Janelle Monae is a female version of me,” the rapper explains. “You can’t really describe it. You can take one song and describe that, but overall you can’t really fit it into a box.”
He also notes that his forthcoming LP The Adventures Of Bobby Ray (out April 27) will contain hip hop, rock, country, bluegrass and reggae tunes—and a collaboration with T.I. that he describes as a future “smash.”
