As part of their “Undercover” series, The A.V. Club has enlisted 25 indie artists to cover 25 hits. For their latest installment, they invited the Fruit Bats to remake Hall And Oates’ 80’s classic “One On One”. When asked why he chose this song from the list to cover, Fruit Bats drummer Brian Belval joked, “I like this song cause I’m a big fan of basketball”. Fruit Bats aren’t the only ones to cover Daryl and John’s hit. As you may remember, The Bird And The Bee included a rendition in their just-released Hall And Oates tribute album Guiltless Pleasures Volume 1: A Tribute To Daryl Hall And John Oates. Have a listen to both after the jump and help us decide who sang it best.
