Nicole Scherzinger Sets Sail On ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ Makes Noises On ‘Lopez Tonight’

After swabbing the poop deck in the sluttiest sailor outfit ever created on Dancing with the Stars last night, Nicole Scherzinger appeared on Lopez Tonight, discussing her forthcoming recording plans and making all sorts of strange noises. Catch the interview below, as well as some serious secondhand embarrassment from watching the Doll’s goofy, vaudvillian DWTS performance.

As far as any new Pussycat Dolls news goes, Nicole doesn’t have much of an update: “A couple girls have left the group, but I’m still in the group. I’m working on music right now, I’m working on my own stuff, I’m gonna come out with a single and an album, soon.” Because that worked out so well last time.

Nicole also gives an anecdote about telling her mother she’s doing a duet with Sting, to which Momma Scherzinger replied, “That’s nice… when are you gonna do that Dancing with the Stars show?” Oh, mothers and their reality TV! So, how is Nicole doing on DWTS? As good as we originally expected? Well, the judges were pissed that she and partner Derek Hough broke the rules by not doing their assigned dance of the quickstep, but Bruno did call their performance “incredible,” and the duo scored 23 points out of 30. Not too shabby for two professional dancers.
