These Guys Are Bringing Nerdy Back With Their Justin Timberlake Medley

While Justin Timberlake focuses on his acting career, leave it to somebody else to hone in on JT’s music. The Brett Domino Trio (formed by Brits Mitch Hutchinson, Steven Peavis and yes, Brett Domino) perform “Sexy Back,” “Like I Love You” and “LoveStoned” using various oddball instruments—a theremin, a cowbell, and a keytar, among others—that would not have been out of place on American Idol‘s Top 9 performance night. (If Lee DeWyze could find bagpipes in Los Angeles, we think these guys would have certainly less trouble finding them in Great Britain.)

They might look like extras from Revenge of the Nerds, or perhaps members of an actual real-life glee club, but they definitely know how to jam out to Timberlake’s tunes as much as one can while playing a ukulele. Watch the nerdly awesome clip below.

Justin Timberlake Medley

Here’s the following instruments used to achieve such a geek-tastic medley: stylophone beatbox, iPod Touch (using DigiDrummer Lite), kazoo, thumb piano, shaker, stylophone, cowbell, recorder, ukulele, theremin, spoons, and Roland AX-Synth.

The musicians appeared on the third season of Britain’s Got Talent—yes, the same season that made Susan Boyle a star. We guess not everybody is destined for their own cross-dressing Japanese impersonators.

Check out Brett’s YouTube page for more ridiculous musical gems from the trio.
