One of this spring’s biggest hits, B.o.B and Bruno Mars’ breezy “Nothin’ On You,” has been held off from the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 for weeks now by Rihanna’s raunchy pop jam “Rude Boy.” Last week, however, “Nothin’ On You” slipped to #1 on iTunes, and today Bobby and Bruno belted out the tune on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Will this all be enough to push the single to the #1 position on the main chart? Watch below.

“I couldn’t tell you what it takes to write a hit song any more than Rihanna could tell you how to write a hit song, no more than the person on the bottom of the charts could tell you,” B.o.B told us over the weekend at Coachella. “A hit song doesn’t necessarily mean a good song, which doesn’t mean to take away anything from a hit. But people write great songs all the time, but what makes it a hit? Who knows. Organized chaos.”
