Beyoncé Blasts To The Past As A Pin-Up Mechanic In “Why Don’t You Love Me” Video Preview

Beyoncé is releasing one more single from the deluxe re-released version of I Am… Sasha Fierce, the fiesty track “Why Don’t You Love Me,” which was co-written by her sister Solange Knowles. The song is inspired by 60s and 70s funk, which must have motivated Bey to go totally retro for the video. Check out the pop diva as B.B. Homemaker in a tongue-in-cheek, totally cute preview clip below. It’ll make you actually want your car to break down just so Beyoncé can repair it.

We know this preview clip is only a few seconds long, but it’s already a zillion times more entertaining than the video for Beyoncé’s last Sasha Fierce single, “Video Phone,” which also had Queen B channelling a pin-up gal.

Wearing a pair of denim hot pants that look even shorter than the ones she wore at Coachella, Bey (straight out of a 1960s instructional video) sighs and sweats while repairing a car. We’re not sure that car ever does get fixed, but B.B. Homemaker looks pleased with herself anyway. (We would be, too, if we were one of People‘s Most Beautiful.)

Can we please get Beyonce as B.B. Homemaker on the upcoming season of Mad Men? She might possibly be the only woman who can tame Don Draper’s womanizing ways.
