Ellen DeGeneres had Adam Lambert on her talk show today, and asked the Wango Tango performer about his People Most Beautiful Of 2010 shoot. “That bird was temperamental,” Adam said of the feathered friend perched on his shoulder in the magazine photo. “That was not your bird?” Ellen asked. Adam’s reply: “No. Not my cockatoo.” Wink. DeGeneres then steered the conversation to Glambert’s recent mentor gig on American Idol and what it was for him to return to the show after a year. “I felt a little pressure toward [last year’s] finale, at the very end,” Lambert admitted about his days as a contestant on Idol. “But to be honest—and now, going into my career—this is a lot more work than that was… I look back on it and I’m like, wow, things were almost easier then.”
