The most anticipated song off Drake’s Thank Me Later surfaced today, his collab with none other than Jay-Z on “Light Up.” Drizzy previously appeared on Hova’s “Off That” from The Blueprint 3, but just on the hook. Here he more than returns the favor, giving Jay-Z a large chunk of space to rap advice to the newcomer about dealing with fame. Listen to the (tagged) track below.

Drake feat. Jay-Z – “Light Up”

It’s mostly just drum beats and two rappers doing their thing. Drake leaves his singing just for the hook, and lets Jay take over: “Drake, here’s how they gonna come at you, with silly rap feuds trying to distract you… In disguise, in the form of a favor… watch for the traitors,” raps Hova, surprising no one by pretty much owning the whole track. So far, Drizzy’s featured guests on his album are blowing him out of the water. “Light Up” is the third Thank Me Later track to surface this week alone. (Listen to “Unforgettable” and “Fireworks.”) By this time next week, we may have heard all of Drake’s debut album despite the fact it still has a release date of June 15. Will you be picking it up?
