“The Club Is Alive”, New Music Video From Brit Boy Band JLS

Our favorite British boy band is back with a new music video for their latest single “The Club Is Alive”. While the single pays homage to The Sound Of Music, the video would definitely make the Von Trapp family blush.  Set Opera nightclub in Los Angeles, the vid depicts JLS strolling passed the red velvet ropes and immediately taking over the club. They’re surrounded by girls, they’ve got VIP bottle service (we get it guys, you’re big time now) and then, naturally, they take over the dance floor. Catch the vid below (complete with Aston’s signature back flip and sweet break dancing moves).

Choreographed by Marty Kudelka (who’s worked with Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake,), the boys manage to perform their entire routine on a round rotating dance floor (is it intended to be a visual interpretation of their lyric “You be the DJ, I’ll be the dance floor”? Nah.)

Watching American Bandstand, then Soul Train on Saturday mornings and dancing like happy epileptics would be a great way to start the weekend….Singers should be those who are capable of doing with dignity. It would be best to have those that appeared on Soul Train during its peak years. Any ideas, hussies?
