It’s definitely party time in Johannesburg today—larger-than-life music acts from across the globe helped get soccer and music fans riled up for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Kick-Off event in South Africa. Shakira shook her hips (‘natch), a very pregnant Alicia Keys got everybody’s hands waving in the air, and the Black Eyed Peas flew their crazy zebra background dancers into the country for a medley of their hits. Whether or not you’ll be watching the World Cup, you have to admit the unbridled enthusiasm of the ginourmous crowd and the excitement of the performances makes this event not to be missed, even if you’re just viewing it on the web.

Shakira – “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)” (Live)

Alicia Keys – “No One” (Live)

Black Eyed Peas – medley of “Pump It”, “Meet Me Halfway”, “I Gotta Feeling”, and “Boom Boom Boom” (Live)
