Katy Perry Gives A Behind-The-Scenes Look At Her “California Gurls” Video

A 30-second preview of Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” music video popped up a week back to whet her fans appetites for the chart-topping single, and today she tweeted that the full clip “is coming.” To further tease the Perryphiles, the bright-wigged pop star added a behind-the-scenes clip to her YouTube channel. “I have sprayed whipped cream from my…assets,” she promises, as she shows off stills from the shoot and stand in front of the camera aiming her cans. Watch below!

You know, Katy’s “assets” seem to  be a party of a running theme, both these days (see: Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro”) and in days of yore (Madonna’s “Vogue”). Chalk it up to the evolution of the bra via music videos.

And speaking of all things “Alejandro,” Katy Perry has finally sprayed cream all over any notion that she was dissing Lady Gaga’s latest video on Twitter last week and branding it as “blasphemous.”

“I’m a massive fan,” she told Entertainment Weekly over the weekend “[My tweet was] more of a non-specific, general thing. But everybody made it out to be a cat fight. I think people love cat fights. It’s a turn on for people… But everybody knows I am a massive Lady Gaga fan. If you look through my tweets, there will be about ten of them that say that I am obsessed with her.”
