Kid Cudi Kicks Off New Album With “REVOFEV”

Fresh off his performance at Bonnaroo (which, you may recall, came hours after he was arrested for “criminal mischief” and more) Kid Cudi has launched into promotion for his much-anticipated sophomore album with the new single “REVOFEV”. The title is short for “Revolution Of Evolution”, and Cudder departs a bit from his typical toking and joking to ask “Where will you be for the revolution?” Listen to Cudi blaze below.

Lyrically, Cudi seems to aspire to call listeners to arms, but at the same time, he assures everyone that there’s “no need to stress”. Maybe we should just pass to the left and think about this for a minute.

It’s probably a little early to say whether “REVOFEV” signals a major change for Cudi as he preps Man Of The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager (due in September), but we’re stoked to hear more.
