Macy Gray Tries To Make ‘The Sellout’ Happen With Two TV Performances
Macy Gray’s album The Sellout dropped this week, and although we’re pretty 100% certain Eminem will be the champ of the charts, there may still be hope yet for Gray to find some of the success she hasn’t had since her 1999 single “I Try.” The singer bookended her day yesterday with two televised performances—her Wednesday morning kicked off by singing her jingle-sounding single “Beauty In This World” for the ladies of The View, and Gray called it a night over at Jimmy Fallon, singing her swingin’ rock song “Kissed It.” Watch both performances below.
