Sassy UK fly girl Lolene, an artist we recently featured in our Popping Up series, takes a stab at fame with her debut music video “Rich (Fake It Til You Make It).” In the Justin Harder-directed clip, the 25-year-old pop singer and her backup dancers strut down the aisle of a grocery store as they literally shop for glitz and glamor. The video is a fun romp that’s reminiscent of ’80s-era MTV extravaganzas—but will it be enough to help Lolene “make it”? Watch below.

Tasty! But darn it, Lolene—you forgot the thong-flavored ice cream! Can you be a doll run back and grab a gallon?

“Rich (Fake It Til You Make It)” is produced by The Messengers, who have worked with Justin Bieber, JoJo and Chris Brown. Lolene’s full album The Electrick Hotel is due out in August.
