Did Lil Wayne’s Rebirth teach us nothing? Just a few short months after Weezy’s misadventures in rock, we’re sorry to report that another otherwise-fantastic rap artist has somehow been tantalized by cliche-sounding guitar riffs. Kid Cudi, in an apparent effort to depart from his usual sulkiness, raps over chugging arena-rock chords and adds a Kanye West verse on “Erase Me”, the new single off of his forthcoming Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager.
