Jason Derulo Goes For A Cinematic Moment In His “What If” Video Trailer
Run, Jason Derulo, run! The movie trailer-esque preview for “What If,” the 20-year-old pop singer’s upcoming fourth music video—sorry, make that short film—plays like a cinematic romantic epic with a slight time travel element thrown in. “What If…the only way to save the one you love was to never meet them,” reads the tagline. Watch T4 On The Beach performer Jason face the fate of his girlfriend in the sneak peek of “What If” after the jump.
D-rama. The full “What If” video, directed by Ethan Lader (who lensed Rob Roy’s “Fur In My Cap”), is set to premiere later this month. Sadly, it probably won’t contain any dance movies like the ones So You Think You Can Dance duo NappyTabs came up with for Derulo’s “Whatcha Say.”
In the meantime, “Ridin’ Solo,” Jason’s third single, climbed into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 this week (it’s at #9).
