Usher To Drop ‘Raymond’ Follow-Up Next Month—Listen To The First Single

Either Usher had a slew of leftover material from his Raymond V. Raymond sessions, or the man just likes to keep busy. The “OMG” singer just announced that he’ll be hitting 2010 with yet another new record—Versus, out August 24, will be the follow-up (and a sequel of sorts) to Raymond V. Raymond. And just because he likes you, fans will be able to purchase Versus separately or included in a deluxe package of his previous album.

After the jump, listen to the first single from Versus, the Max Martin-produced track “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” featuring Pitbull. Does Usher have another “OMG”-sized hit on his hands?

Pitbull – DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” dl=”0″] We like it, and it was tailor-made for the clubs and the radio. We just feel like we’ve heard this type of song over and over again, about the DJ being an integral part of two people getting together. Not much new territory here lyrically, but the beat is thumping.

The album’s second single, “Hot Tottie”, produced by Polow Da Don, will drop August 9. No word if Justin Bieber is featured on this new album, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
