KT Tunstall Returns With New Single “Push That Knot Away”
KT Tunstall has been gone for a bit, but the Scottish singer-songwriter has finally set her sights on a return to the stage. KT’s upcoming LP Tiger Suit is the follow-up to 2007’s Drastic Fantastic, which peaked at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 without a hit single. We’re digging this new track—KT’s vocals seem grittier than last we heard on her happy-go-lucky pop singles, and she sounds reminiscent of Joan Osbourne and Melissa Etheridge (and yes, even Crystal Bowersox). This rockin’ track with its prominent bass almost reminds us of a White Stripes tune, too.
