They may not be a couple anymore, but Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato aren’t afraid to still duet. (That sounded like a pun, but we assure you, we’re talking about singing.) The duo have released a new track from the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack, the break-up ballad “Wouldn’t Change A Thing.” Are both pop tarts personally speaking about their failed relationship in this track? Or was this song written and recorded before they even started going out? Either way—aaawkward. Jump below to listen.

Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato – “Wouldn’t Change A Thing”

“It’s like he doesn’t hear a word a say / His mind is so far away / And I don’t know how to get there,” sings Demi, discussing what’s wrong with her beau. And Joe’s complaints? “I tried to read her mind / She tries to pick a fight / To get attention, that’s what all my friends say.”

Although we have a feeling Disney wants us to believe we’re peeking into Joe and Demi’s behind-closed-doors he said/she said, we have a feeling this song really has nothing to do with what really went down between the two teens during their brief relationship—especially since at the end of this song, both singers say they want to remain a couple. Ah, too bad. “Jemi” were so cute together.

In other solo Joe-lo news, EW reports that the middle Jonas will guest star on the Betty White TV Land show Hot in Cleveland as Valerie Bertinelli’s son. Maybe there’ll be a cute girl working the crafts services table on set?
