Given that Chris Brown’s last album Graffiti stiffed on the charts like an empty, rusty can of spray paint rolling into the trash compactor, the 21-year-old entertainer has been turning to acting as of late. He first got the bug after having a small role in 2007 movie Stomp The Yard, and next up is the crime flick Takers. But he’s also the star of his own upcoming short film, 12 Strands (Matrix). Get a further taste for Breezy as an action star by watching the trailer below.
12 Strands is based around the song of Brown’s called “Matrix” that apparently was recorded during the Graffiti sessions, but doesn’t appear on his album. The short/music video was directed by Colin Tilley.
“The release of the full clip is to TBD but will be premiering on MechanicalDummy.com,” states the Facebook page for 12 Strands.
It’s at the very least a good way for Chris to showcase his thespian chops. Do you think he’ll further transition into acting gigs after this?
