Mike Posner Pleads “Please Don’t Go” In His New Single

Just weeks away from the release of his debut album 31 Minutes To Takeoff, our recent Popping Up artist, Mike Posner‘s single “Please Don’t Go” has just surfaced to help tide us over till the album’s much anticipated August 10th drop date. The catchy track is just another example of why we think Mike has a long career of making the kind of music that commands people to shake their booties ahead of him. Click below to check out the recent Duke University grad’s follow up to “Cooler Than Me”—currently at #7 on The Billboard Hot 100.
We think “Please Don’t Go” plays like ACT II of “Cooler Than Me”. Now that Mike’s finally nabbed his crush, he’s afraid she’s going to leave him. Tell us what you think. Comment below, ya’ll!

He reminds me of a less funky version of Owl City. Catchy now, but I’m not sure he’ll last.

Upon a few repeats, I just realized Please Don’t Gothat at least the beginning sounds just like The Fray’s Cable Car. Ironic, huh?
