It’s that time of the week again when we condense 50 years of music into just five songs that start with the same letter of the alphabet. This week we move on to the letter “S”. Our list includes a Glee favorite, a Tears For Fears song that doesn’t make us “shout, shout, let it all out”, and a pick from the 00’s that will probably make Kanye interrupt this post.

See who earned a spot in our “S” collection by clicking below. And remember, if you don’t agree with us on our selections, leave us a comment. Don’t forget, we’ll be doing the letter “T” next Friday. So if there’s a song you think deserves a slot, give us a shout.

60’s – “Sloop John B” – The Beach Boys

70’s – “Somebody To Love” – Queen

80’s – “Sowing The Seeds Of Love” – Tears For Fears

90’s – “Sabotage” – Beastie Boys

00’s – “Since U Been Gone” – Kelly Clarkson
