Last week “Touch” singer Natasha Bedingfield performed an acoustic version of new single “Strip Me”—the title song off her upcoming album—live on KTLA Los Angeles, and now a radio rip of the song has surfaced. Head below to catch both versions.

Here’s the recorded version of Bedingfield’s “Strip Me,” which is now getting Florence + The Machine/Eat Pray Love treatment as it features in the trailer for the new J.J. Abrams’ co-produced movie Morning Glory.

You know, this strategy feels very familiar. “Strip Me” sounds like a rip-off of “Battlefield” (no surprise, look at who produced it), so it seems to me that Natasha is specifically avoiding performing the album version on TV to avoid controversy. Kelly Clarkson did this same thing with her “Already Gone” performances when the “Halo” drama occurred.
