Lee DeWyze To Drop Debut Album This November
We’ll finally get a clue as to whether Lee DeWyze’s post-Idol career will mirror that of Carrie Underwood or Taylor Hicks when his debut album drops on November 16. “It’s gonna be like a whole rock/pop sort of deal… It’s gonna be very chill rock, a little harder stuff,” Lee told Neon Limelight as to what we can expect in regards to his music. Although we’re fairly certain his album will follow precedent of every American Idol winner to come before him and debut somewhere in the Top 10, we’ll have to see how well DeWyze’s “chill rock” can stand up against Kanye West, who also releases his as-yet-untitled album that day.
