MGMT Cross The Desert With A Puppet In “Congratulations” Video
Do MGMT’s Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden ever enjoy themselves? Last time we saw the Brooklyn electro-pop duo, they were suffering through a mildly creepy dinner party. Now they’re back with the sad, slow clip for “Congratulations”, the title track from their sophomore album. Watch Andrew, Ben and their disintegrating prehistoric Dark Crystal-style bird-camel cross the desert. At this point, we think they’re trying to bum us out on purpose. When you start featuring sad Muppets, it’s just intentional. See below.
