Did You Hear?

:: M.I.A. is heading out on a North American tour in promotion of her new album. Hopefully her concerts will go smoother than her other live performances from the past year. If anything, we know they won’t be serving truffle fries at any of the venues. [Rap-Up]

:: Allison Iraheta has suffered a frequent rite of passage of former American Idol contestants—the singer is no longer signed to Jive Records. (She is, however, still with 19 Recordings.) [EW Musix Mix]

:: Inception‘s Joseph Gordon-Levitt covers Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”. He’s a little late to the party, but we’ll forgive him because he’s just too precious. (Though we think his cover of Aretha Franklin’s “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” was a less obvious, more inspired choice.) [MTV Buzzworthy]

:: Shakira-approved indie band The xx took home the 2010 Mercury prize for their debut album. [Spinner]

:: Glee‘s season premiere will feature seven songs—Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire,” and Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” as well as the Broadway songs “What I Did for Love” from A Chorus Line, “Getting to Know You” from The King and I, and “Listen” from the Dreamgirls film. Also, the season premiere will be five hours long, apparently. [Rolling Stone]

After the jump, check out which stars will be lighting up the tube tonight.
