A new jam from star-spangled diva Keri Hilson has surfaced in the form of “Still A Girl,” an upbeat song with lyrics that finds the Grammy nominee feeling defensive toward an object of affection, and not wanting to let her true emotions show. Now, now—sometimes you just have to give in to amore, Miss Keri! Listen below.

It’s a welcome new sound for the singer, whose hits “Knock You Down” and “Got Your Back” (with T.I.) sounded a bit too repetitious. That said, we won’t go into the similarities here to TLC’s 1999 tune “Unpretty” or Darren Hayes’ 2002 single “I Miss You.” That would just be tacky. But we will post the videos. Because it’s Friday, we’re kicking back and, hey—why not let a bit of nostalgia creep in for the weekend? Thanks, Keri!
