Christina Aguilera At The Montblanc John Lennon Edition Launch (PHOTOS)
If you were wondering why Christina Aguilera was not in attendance at last night’s 2010 MTV VMAs, it’s because she was 3,000 miles away in New York City for the Montblanc John Lennon Edition Global Launch at Lincoln Center. In addition to posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet and testing out the writing utensil, the Burlesque star also sang Lennon’s famous peace anthem “Imagine”. Wasn’t there a lyric that Yoko suggested (later cut from the final recording), “Imagine all the people, writing with Montblanc pens”? It all makes perfect sense.
