While Chris Brown’s urban cut “Deuces” steadily climbs up the iTunes chart, San Francisco’s WILD 94.9 premiered a brand new pop-dance jam from Breezy last night called “Yeah 3X” (or “yeah three times”). Think his 2008 “Forever” meets La Roux’s “Bulletproof.” Listen below.

Rap-Up.com notes that “Yeah 3X” is one of the songs set to appear on Brown’s upcoming fourth album. If that’s the case, it’s definitely a step in the right direction if he wants to snatch back some of that mainstream success he once was in control of. The public at large seemed to favor him when he was warm and fuzzy, as opposed to the harder edge he displayed with tracks off his recent mixtape.

As for this new song, it’s good to hear him praising the object of his affection again, rather than verbally blasting her. And lyrically, “Yeah 3X” might as well be the sequel to “Forever” (“Baby, we’re goin’ somewhere you’ve never been before, so take my hand and come with me”).

More of this, please, Breezy.
