Michael Jackson’s Mother Sues AEG Live

Katherine Jackson is suing AEG Live, the concert promoter that was to put on Michael Jackson’s This Is It concert. She is seeking an unspecified sum, alleging that the company “failed to provide life-saving equipment and oversee a doctor who was hired to look out for the pop star’s well-being.” MJ died before signing the agreement with AEG ensuring him said equipment and a non-shady doctor (ie. Dr. Conrad Murray), so the company is saying that the agreement is not binding. Excuse us while we roll our eyes at that excuse. [NY Times]
