Kid Cudi Gets “Dangerous” On New Track

A new-ish track from Kid Cudi, the man so wealthy he needs larger-than-average containers to hold his illegal substances, surfaced on the interwebs this week, and although “Dangerous” (which comes off a Biggy Jiggy mixtape) may sound different to anything else on the radio, the off-kilter, distorted beat that implies being not-of-sound-mind is typical for the drugreferencing (and proud drug-using) rapper. Listen to the (tagged) track below.

Kid Cudi feat. Rich Hill — “Dangerous”

KiD CuDi – Dangerous by Some Kind of Awesome

It’s got a warped, funhouse mirror of a beat, and takes some interesting turns throughout the course of the song. The vocals are a little mumbly and the end lacks any sort of clear “end”—it just kind of lethargically fades out—which leads us to believe this is an unfinished track in need of a polish. And we hope it gets one if it winds up on Cudder’s Mr. Rager LP (out November 9).

What say you?
