The whole Young Money gang hasn’t appeared on a song together since “Bed Rock“, and now the massive collection of ruffians are squeezed into the appropriately named “YM Salute”, a bonus track on Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being LP. Listen Weezy, Nicki Minaj and the rest of the YM crowd on the (tagged) track below!

Nicki Minaj & Young Money – YM Salute” dl=”0″] The Young Money gang (not to be confused with Diddy’s Dirty Money, of course) takes turns on this clown car of a song, and Nicki Minaj—who credits Weezy as inspiring her kooky, atypical rap styling—appears as the opening act right before headliner Wayne comes in during the third minute. We almost feel like we’re intruding on a family reunion of a family we’re not a part of. That is, this doesn’t seem meant for anybody to actually enjoy except for the members of Young Money.

“YM Salute” is at least more melodic than Wayne’s last few offerings. But that isn’t too difficult a feat.

Just in case you’re worried about Weezy’s well-being behind bars, the incarcerated rapper—who is released from prison in November—is keeping good spirits. “I went to see [Lil Wayne], like, five days ago,” Nicki told radio DJ Funkmaster Flex. “I was on Rikers. First of all, his birthday is coming up in a few days. He was just very focused, but he was laughing the same way. He was just making me laugh.”

Need more music from Weezy? We’re not sure how that’s really possible, as we’ve never seen someone release this much music while currently in jail. But here’s an album preview regardless:
