The latest issue of Forbes lists the 400 wealthiest Americans, and the publishers singled out Jay-Z—who along with Beyonce currently makes up music’s most powerful couple, according to the Guinness Book Of World Records—to appear with the world’s third richest person, Warren Buffett, on the cover. Peek at the full cover shot after the jump.

The big-bucks pair took part in the first Forbes 400 Summit, where Hova said, “”My first album didn’t come out until I was 26, so I had a bit more maturity. The album had all these emotions and complexities and layers that a typical hip-hop album didn’t have if you were making it at 16, 17 years old. That isn’t enough wealth of experience to share with the world. I had so much wealth to share with the world at that time, and I’ve never forgotten those things… You never forget those true things that you stick to, your basic things that make you successful.”

Below’s a clip of Jay, 40, and Warren, 80, giving advice on success. Hov talks about how the Internet has changed the music business, and how labels bungled the opportunity to work with Napster a decade ago rather than shutting the file-sharing service down.
