Nicki Minaj and will.i.am turned out a live performance of their Buggles-sampling jam “Check It Out” on last night’s Late Show With David Letterman. This time around, Will left the painted-on blackface out of the equation, and instead opted for a plastic hair helmet with a pink streak down the side. Whether or not you dig Nicki and her penchant for sampling other hit songs, there’s no denying she’s a dynamic performer—albeit one with odd taste in pants.
