It’s been nearly 19 months since First Lady of American Idol Kelly Clarkson put out her last album—not an inordinately long amount of time (though fans of the Texas belter may disagree). And since March 2009, she has racked up another handful of hits, sparred with Ryan Tedder, reportedly made up with Ryan Tedder and suffered a series of leaked songs. So what’s next for the Grammy-winning pop queen? One need only look to Clarkson’s Twitter to find out. News of Kelly’s new material came Monday evening via the singer herself, when she tweeted, “Just finished another song today!” She wrote that she’d just wrapped up a studio session with Jason Halbert—who previously co-produced Clarkson’s 2007 Top 10 hit “Never Again”—and that the song is called “You Still Won’t Know What It’s Like.”

“We’ve almost completed the album. We’re gonna have way too many songs to pick from ….and that part sucks,” Clarkson revealed on Twitter, before adding, “My favorite song off of the new album is ‘You Love Me’.”

Kelly was apparently in a generous mood, because she also tipped off her fans that “There is definitely one song that could have been on [2007 album] My December and it’s also a duet…” Naturally she didn’t name her lucky vocal partner on the track, but allowed that there are in fact two duets on her forthcoming fifth LP.

“…I have at some point sang w/both of these artists before but not on record,” Clarkson tweeted.

Hmmm. We’ll take a stab in the dark and say Kelly’s fellow Idol alum Chris Daughtry, who she appeared on stage with in the spring for a heart-tugging rendition of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”

Any other guesses?
