Rihanna is most definitely the only girl in her music video for her Loud single, “Only Girl (In The World)“. What the clip lacks in other girls, however, it makes up for with copious amounts of fireworks, balloons, swings, flowers and lots and lots of headbands. It’s a teenage girl’s dream! Watch Rihanna’s rosy red-tinted video below.

Rihanna – “Only Girl (In The World)”

The video, shot by regular Rihanna collaborator Anthony Mandler, was shot just a few hours outside of Los Angeles. RiRi looks stunning while wearing a flurry of outfits, including the combat boots and tutu combo she donned for her performance with Eminem at the VMAs. (This look would have made more sense had the video premiered before their performance.)

The whole rosy look of the video seems inspired by the singer’s fiery bright-red hairdo, which might explain why it’s the first time we didn’t think her hairstyle and color was as distracting as it usually is.

Rihanna spoke to Just Jared about filming the video:

“It’s really, really beautifully shot in these crazy, crazy, crazy places… We shot landscapes that we found a couple hours outside of L.A. It looks so unreal. It looks fake, like something out of a postcard with the beautiful hills… We had a lot of sunshine those couple of days, so it really worked with the whole essence of the video. But really, the video just shows this big landscape and the only person there is me.”

The song might be about feeling like the most important person to your lover, but what this video proves is that you can have tons of fun all by yourself. Especially if you’re dancing along to Rihanna’s awesome new Stargate-produced dance song.
