After presenting rather risque music video fare recently like “No Bullsh*t” and “Make A Movie,” Chris Brown has lightened up with his clip for dance-pop jam “Yeah 3X.” Watch Breezy alleviate the boredom of a pack of kids by inciting a street party below!

Interestingly, while Travie McCoy recently compared his own “Need You” video to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel,” we’re getting much more of a vibe of that 1987 clip from Chris’ latest.

In fact, there’s even a hefty splash of Janet Jackson’s “Alright” thrown in for extra flavor.

Sure, the “Yeah 3X” clip is derivative. But at least Brown is making a serious effort to polish up his commercial appeal once again with both a feel-good, sing-along song and an equally sunny video.

“Yeah 3X” was directed by Colin Tilley, who was also behind the lens for Justin Bieber’s “Never Let You Go” vid. The single is the first to be issued off Chris Brown’s upcoming album F.A.M.E.
