No Charges Filed In T.I. Drug Case
T.I. can breathe easy (just don’t inhale, Tip!) knowing that charges stemming from his early September arrest for drug possession will not be filed. MTV News reports that Jane Robinson of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office rejected filing of misdemeanor charges against the rapper (real name: Clifford Harris) in part because he’ll already be serving 11 months of jail time for probation violation as a result of the arrest. Tip was taken in after cops caught both he and wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle with marijuana, codeine and ecstasy while driving down Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California. He’s expected to turn himself in next Monday.
