Kid Cudi wasn’t kid-cudding about ditching the hip hop game for a more rock n’ roll edge. Last night the dapper rapper and his new band hit up the Late Show With David Letterman for a performance of “Erase Me.” The rapper-turned-rocker had a guitar strapped over his shoulder, but appeared to still be in the learning process—he only played it during the song’s chorus, and when doing so stared at it intently, making sure he didn’t hit the wrong chords. Cudi’s Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager will be released on November 9, where it will face some stiff competition from blessed Susan Boyle’s The Gift.
