Miley Cyrus probably thinks that releasing an electro-rock-dance album is the first sign of transitioning to womanhood. But honestly, the singer’s appearance in indie rock band Rock Mafia’s “The Big Bang” music video is the first time we’ve been able to see the Disney star as a real adult, as opposed to just trying to channel one by wearing various skimpy outfits. Watch a very mature Miley play a dreamgirl (and pucker up with her co-star) in Rock Mafia’s video for their sultry little jam below.
Rock Mafia feat. Miley Cyrus – “The Big Bang”
We’re a little shocked seeing Cyrus get into a car wreck (a music video staple, it seems), but it’s a nice change from the usual amount of shock we have watching Miley’s videos when we realize how little she’s wearing. In this vid, though, the 17-year old looks sexy, but restrained – for her, anyway. And not one “durr” face to be seen! Our little girl’s growing up!
“Rock Mafia is my family and there’s nothing that means more than creating with them,” Miley said of making the clip with the same band who recorded a fab remix of her song “See You Again“. “The video is unique and honestly, was a life changing experience. This song means a lot to me.”
